07 · Confidentiality and Privacy Deed — Execution

I have read the Confidentiality and Privacy Deed (MC-QLD-DOC-07, version 1.0) in full, I understand it, and I give it as a deed. I understand that my obligations under this Deed continue indefinitely after my engagement ends and do not lapse when a young person leaves our care or turns eighteen. I understand that nothing in this Deed prevents or delays me from making a mandatory report, reporting reportable conduct, or reporting a concern about a child's safety to police, the department, the Queensland Family and Child Commission or a work health and safety regulator — confidentiality never overrides child safety. I understand that this form and my signature are a legal record kept on my personnel file.
