10 · Social Media and Acceptable Use Policy — Confirmation

I have read the Social Media and Acceptable Use Policy (MC-QLD-DOC-10, version 1.0) in full, I understand it, and I agree to comply with it. I understand that online or private contact with a young person in our care, a former resident or their family — in any direction, on any platform, including gaming chat — is a serious breach, is likely to be reportable conduct under the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024 (Qld), and may be notified to the department, the Queensland Family and Child Commission and Blue Card Services. I understand that if a young person contacts me I must not reply, and must report it to my manager the same shift. I understand that this form and my signature are a legal record kept on my personnel file.
