01 · Child Safety Code of Conduct — Confirmation

I have read the Child Safety Code of Conduct (MC-QLD-DOC-01, version 1.0) in full, I understand it, and I agree to be bound by it. I agree to the professional boundaries it sets — including that I will not form a personal relationship with a young person in our care or their family, give a young person my personal contact details, meet or transport a young person outside my rostered duties, take a young person to my home, give or accept gifts or money, or keep a secret with a young person. I understand that these boundaries continue after a young person leaves our care and after my engagement ends, and that breaching this Code may be reportable conduct, criminal conduct, or both. I understand that grooming is a pattern rather than an event, and that I must report a colleague's boundary-crossing without waiting until I am certain. I understand that this form and my signature are a legal record kept on my personnel file.
